Bunions and Treatment

What are bunions?

Is your big toe pushing against the next toe? Then you might very well have a bunion, which is clinically defined by the Mayo Clinic as “a bony bump that forms on the joint at the base of your big toe.” Not to worry, though. If you’re suffering from a bunion, we’ll provide you with the best medical intervention available.

What causes bunions?

Bunions are most often caused by foot stress, arthritis and/or tight shoes. You might even be predisposed to the condition, so don’t be so hard on yourself!

What is the best treatment for you?

Our treatment for bunions includes padding the foot, pain medication, changing shoes and orthotics. In some cases, we’ll recommend surgery. Let’s take a look first and find out.
