Dr. Amyn Lakhani
Dr. Amyn Lakhani completed his Bachelor of science in Microbiology from University of Georgia, Cum Laude, where he received a Dean’s list award for his outstanding performance.
Soon after, he went to Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine for his podiatric education and training where he received several scholarships including the Scholl Merit Scholarship, APMA Educational Foundation Scholarship, and the APMA J. Edward Stricker, DPM, Memorial Scholarship.
Dr. Lakhani then matched at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan for his podiatry residency training in PMSR/RRA-36 with ankle certification. During residency, he has had the opportunity to receive clinical and surgical training from six different hospitals affiliated with Mount Sinai.
Dr. Lakhani has had experience in treating patients with various different pathologies within different socioeconomic backgrounds and age groups. Furthermore, he has received extensive training in performing forefoot and rearfoot surgeries, once patients exhaust conservative treatments.
