Radiofrequency Surgery

What is radiofrequency surgery?

Dr. Loor can offer radiofrequency surgery as a successful intervention that will provide you long-term pain relief.

Simply put, this procedure is used to eliminate pain, primarily for the treatment of plantar fasciitis. How does it work? An electrode is placed into the tissue at the painful site, and an electrical current is then delivered, generating heat that destroys the sensory nerve fibers beneath the skin.

What are the benefits to you?

This procedure makes it easier to control pain associated with plantar fasciitis by eliminating the sense of pain perception in the heel. It also relieves pain for a variety of other conditions associated with heel pain.

In practice…

In addition, when compared to other treatment options, this procedure’s risk level is lower.
